The Brief
The client required a company wide-LED lighting upgrade across its estate. GBR Electrical were appointed to oversee 244 stores over a 28-week programme, aiming to reduce energy consumption, improve lighting quality, and minimise disruption to trading.
As part of the works, updated emergency lighting systems were installed across all branches to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
The Outcome
The rollout achieved significant energy and maintenance savings whilst improving lighting quality across all stores.
5,306 LED panels were installed with a 46% reduction in carbon footprint and 40% reduction in energy bills achieved.
