The Brief
GBR Electrical were appointed to deliver a planned preventative maintenance contract across a national estate with responsibility for over 500 operational sites, including petrol filling stations, funeral care facilities and food retail units.
The objective was to ensure ongoing electrical safety, compliance and operational continuity across the estate.
The scope included Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), emergency lighting testing, thermographic imaging, and the delivery of on-site and follow up remedial works, all carried out within live trading environments were possible.
A key requirement was to maintain business continuity while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and statutory testing requirements.
The contract require a coordinated, scalable approach, clear reporting through our live customer portal, and consistent service delivery across all site types
The Outcome
The PPM programme was delivered efficiently and consistently across the entire estate with a 100% service level agreement achieved, ensuring sites remained safe, compliant and fully operational. All inspection and testing were carried out with minimal disruption to trading, supported by careful planning and experienced engineers familiar with live site environments.
Identified issues were addressed through on-site and scheduled follow-up remedials, reducing risk and preventing unplanned downtime. Clear reporting and structured asset data provided the client with full visibility of compliance status across the estate.
