The Brief
GBR Electrical were appointed by valued client James Hall & Co. to carry out another fully integrated design and build package, following on from successful handover of SPAR Bowness and EGOTM Middlesborough South. The scope included the complete electrical design development, coordination with the clients internal fitout contractor, and installation of all mains distribution equipment and forecourt hazardous area electrical systems.
Key objectives included a compliant and efficient electrical design of the mains distribution suitable to service the entire installation; installation of photocell controlled external and canopy lighting designed to meet planning requirements due to neighbouring properties; EV charging, power and data supplies to all hazardous area and forecourt equipment.
The Outcome
The project was delivered on time, achieving a 100% compliance score through regulatory auditing and inspection. Our design-led approached provided a flexible electrical infrastructure capable of supporting future site expansion, whilst ensuring a modern, high-powered delivery in line with our Client’s specification.
