The Brief
GBR Electrical were appointed to deliver the strip out and refurbishment of a new retail unit within a live shopping centre environment. The objective was to transform the existing unit into a modern, fully compliant retail space ready for occupation, whilst maintaining strict programme control and minimising disruption to neighbouring stores and the public.
The works included the complete strip-out of the exiting unit, followed by a coordinated refurbishment including new electrical lighting, power and data aligned with the clients brand and operational requirements.
Key project requirements including safe working with a live shopping centre; close coordination with centre management and the principle contractor and adherence to strict access, noise and waste management controls
The Outcome
The project was delivered on time and in line with the agreed programme, with all works completed safely within a live shopping centre environment. Effective coordination with the principle contractor and centre management ensured minimal disruption.
