The Brief

Appointed by long term client The Kay Group, GBR Electrical were responsible for the full electrical package to the store retail and petrol forecourt to the flagship development.

The full electrical scope comprised of design and installation of all mains distribution; internal and external lighting; power and data services to the shop retail and essential fuel services and cable management infrastructure. 

As part of the installation, a comprehensive life safety system was installed compromising of new fire alarm and emergency lighting. 

Phase one of the development was officially handed over with zero snags in July 2025. GBR Electrical delivered a complete design and build electrical package ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

The site was fitted with new perimeter lighting, whilst jet wash and vacuum facilities were installed to the external services alongside Alpitronic 200a and 400a EV charging units.

Internally, a full cable management system and feature lighting were installed to the main shop retail, designed to adjust to optimal levels based upon natural light conditions, providing both cost and energy efficient savings for the client.
