The Brief

GBR Electrical were appointed to carry out electrical refurbishments to 60 existing Costa Coffee stores across England and Scotland in order to meet a new client specification.

The scope focused on the renewal of lighting and power systems, alongside the upgrade of door access and control systems. 

Key requirements including adherence to strict programme deadlines and ensuring all works were delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with Costa Coffee’s brand standards. 

The refurbishment works were delivered on time and to specification with the completed installations improving customer experience through new lighting design, enhanced power reliability and updated access systems, ensuring full compliance with current standards.

The programme was successful in delivering consistent quality across sites, supporting Costa Coffee’s operational needs.
